If you majored in Communication in college like me, you probably know that writing is a big part of the shtick. And what’s the hardest thing to write? PRESS RELEASES! Writing comes pretty naturally for me but something about creating an interesting, engaging press release just stumps me.
So, I was super thrilled when Rachael B. from Nail Polish Canada reached out to me with a press release about their HUMONGOUS contest to win a “lifetime supply” of CND Shellac! Not only is this the funniest press release I’ve ever seen, it’s also promoting a totally fabulous contest! If you haven’t used CND Shellac, you definitely need to check it out. I know I entered the contest! Who wouldn’t want to win that? I haven’t had a chance to show off my nail skills yet, but I will ASAP! I’ve had a few Shellac manicures and I was so impressed with the staying power. They keep that shiny, “wet” look forever! My polish never started to chip but I just had so much nail growth after two weeks that it looked wrong and I removed the polish.
(I should mention that at Orange Lipstick, I will only EVER feature products, reviews, press releases, contests, etc. that interest and excite me. I will never bore y’all with countless promotions.)
