The Forsaken Eau de Parfum is my new delight!

I've already told you just how much I love my Forsaken body veil from HSN, right?  Well, now I have the corresponding perfume, which was a Christmas gift from my grandfather.

The bottle is beautiful - even my mom was oohing and ahhing over it.  The way the bottle is red on the bottom makes it look like a bottle of blood at certain angles.  The little blood drips are charming in a morbid kind of way.  It's actually on a little ring thing so, if you wanted to get crazy, you could take it off and wear it like a ring once your bottle is used up.

The smell is intoxicating - it's so good, even though it's a bit pricey.  You can buy it HERE for $59.50.

Here's how HSN describes the fragrance:

You need it in your life!

XOXO

The best palette you'll ever own!

Today I'm showing you the holiest of Holy Grail products.  Seriously, this palette is the most ridiculously awesome thing and you need it.

That's right, the Naked palette from Urban Decay is the ultimate neutral palette.  I think just about every makeup junkie has this in their stash.

This contains twelve shades ranging from nude to black.

This comes with a UD Good Karma shadow brush which is phenomenal and a mini tube of UDPP.

L-R: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar
L-R: Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse
L-R: Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal
You can create so many looks from this palette.  Plus, this is great for travel because you just grab one palette and you have all the neutrals you'd possible want!

The shades are very pigmented although Virgin is rather light.  My favorite combo is Toasted and Hustle and my second favorite is Half Baked and Smog.

What is there to say?  These eyeshadows never crease or fade over primer and they work for all types of skin tones.

You need this!  You can purchase HERE for $50.

XOXO

Cleanse your skin with Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner

Today was cool and crisp and beautiful!  One of my favorite parts of cooler weather is hot tea!  Sleepytime is my favorite one and so I pulled out my trusty, orange mug!

It made my think that I should show y'all my trusty tomato toner!  Yep, Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner is one of my HG products (As you can tell from the half-empty bottle!)

I originally got a mini bottle of this in a Burt's Bees kit along with some other products.  My mom then gifted me with a bottle in my Christmas stocking last year.

This toner feels cool on my skin and I love it so much.  I live in a hot, humid climate so this feels especially wonderful in the warmer weather.

After washing your skin just apply a little toner with a cotton pad or cotton ball.  This has the cleansing benefits of tomato, cucumber, and parsley extract.

This removes oil and residue from my face without ever leaving it feeling tight.  This is probably best for oily to normal skin types.  If you have really dry skin this might not be your bag.

Like I said, this is a Holy Grail product for me and I always have to have some on my vanity!

XOXO

I've bought more tubes of Clinique Acne Solutions liquid makeup than anything else, ever!

Today I'm bringing you one of my all-time favorite products.  This was the first foundation I ever owned and I got it during a makeover at a Clinique counter.

This is Clinique Acnes Solutions Liquid Makeup in 01 Fresh Alabaster.  (Any surprise that I'm the 01 level?  Lol!)

This makeup is creamy and applies like a dream.  It looks so natural on my skin.

This provides sheer to light coverage.  I have been using this for...what?  Nine to ten years?  I can't get enough of this!

I apply with a moist triangle sponge but you can use your fingers in a pinch.

Do you need this?  Yes!  This is a super breathable formula that won't break you out.  I can attest that it's magical!

You can buy it HERE for $27.

XOXO

I have an addiction to Urban Decay Ecstacy!

I think I've mentioned several times just how much I love purple eyeshadows and now it's time to show you the shadow that started the addiction!

This was my first individual shadow from Urban Decay!  This gorgeous thing is Urban Decay Ecstasy.

I hate to say it but this beauty has been discontinued.  (Excuse me while I sob.)  Fortunately, you can still pick one up!  I've seen them sitting in stock at Sephora (for $18) and I've seen them on sale HERE for $6.  Definitely snatch one up for $6, y'all!

So pretty!  I feel like my pictures don't even capture the amazing-ness of this product.  Urban Decay describes this as "bright purple with slight pink."

See how the pink shows up at certain angles and especially when it's wet?

Top - dry
Bottom - wet
This is just gorgeous - click on the pictures to really see it.  I like to use a light champagne color all over the lid and then do a dusting of Ecstasy in the crease.
Left - dry
Right - wet
I think I'm going to have to snatch up another one of these before they become completely unavailable. You need this little cutie, especially now that it's only $6!

Do you love purple eyeshadow?  Some other funky color?

XOXO

Benefit Coralista is a natural beauty

Oh, Coralista!  I mentioned this wonderful blush on my 10 Things I Would Replace Immediately post.  Seriously, this blush is amazing!

There are a few makeup things I know I'll always love:  orange lipstick, purple eyeshadow, and coral blush!  Why?  Because coral blush goes well with everything!

This blush is amazing and is one of the first things I ever fell head over heels for!

This coral has a slight shimmer and can be built up quickly for a bright flush.

Of course, you can go more gently for a natural flush.  Even on times when I've accidentally used too much, it still looks natural.

The included brush is really great, which isn't something you can say about most included brushes.

You can see how wonderful this looks on my skin.  Not only does it look good on fair tones, but I'm confident that it would look good on darker complexions, too.

I've had this blush for well over a year and it just keeps giving!  I use it almost every single day in rotation with my NARS Orgasm blush.  It's really just incredible.

It's $28 for 0.28 oz and you can purchase it HERE.  It's something you definitely need!

XOXO

I don't mind Mildew if it's made by Urban Decay!

Today's post combines two of my favorite things:  Urban Decay and olive green eyeshadows!  Seriously, so many people overlook a good green shadow because they think it's "too crazy."  Let me tell you that green is actually a wonderful neutral!  Yes, it's true!

This was my first Urban Decay single shadow since they revamped their formula and redesigned the packaging.  I think it's very chic and beautiful.

I lusted after this color from afar for so, so long and finally just caved and bought it.  I can't believe I waited as long as I did!  This stuff is gorgeous!

Do you see what I'm saying?!  This color is wonderful in the crease of the eye.  I like to put a layer of Charlotte Ronson Starry Eyes Liquid Eyeshadow in Shiri all over the lid and let it dry.  Then, I smudge this in the crease.  Absolutely amazing!

All of Urban Decay's eyeshadows are highly pigmented, buttery, and have stay-all-day wear!  I don't see creasing or fading with these even after 10 hours of wear.  (I wear them over UDPP, of course!)

The top swatch is dry and the bottom is wet.  (Click to enlarge.)  I find that this shadow actually works better dry.  I experience a little pilling and bunching when it's wet.  The pigmentation is excellent without using it wet so that's just fine with me.

You need this shadow!  You can purchase it HERE (old formula, $6) or HERE (new formula, $18).  Keep in mind that this review is for the NEW formula.  I can't say if the new formula is drastically better than the old formula but, in my humble opinion, the old formula was just fine!  Buy it while it's cheap, ladies and gents!

What is your go-to neutral?  Do you love mossy, olive greens as much as I do?!

XOXO

10 things I would repurchase immediately

If you've ever gotten into watching beauty Youtubers, you'll know that they're a lot like beauty bloggers, except they exclusively produce videos.  I'd say that's how I first got into the world of beauty as a hobby - I watched instructional videos about beauty techniques!

I have a lot of respect for beauty Youtubers because they do a lot of creative things with their channels.  One thing you'll se pretty often is "tag" videos, where a person comes up with an idea for a video and then tags people so they'll make a similar video.  (These often take the form of a list of some sort.)

One type of tag video that has floated around is the "10 Things I'd Repurchase."  The idea is simple:  if you were to lose ALL of your makeup collection tomorrow, what would be the first ten things you'd repurchase?

When you have a pretty large collection, this can be a tough question!  (I got mine down to eleven and finally gave up and took out my Sephora crease blending brush.)

Anyway, here are my ten products I would have to IMMEDIATELY repurchase!  (Click on the listed price to purchase.  If the product name is linked, it means I've written about it before and you can click to read.)

1.)  Milk of Magnesia - $9.39 - I've already explained how much I love this product.  I need this as my primer in the morning!

2.)  Skin 79 Super Beblish Balm Pink Label - $13.79 - This is my Holy Grail BB balm (and foundation).  It applies like a dream, stays all day, and doesn't break me out.  It's seriously perfect.  I'm planning an in-depth review, so look for that soon.

3.)  Urban Decay Primer Potion - $9 - This is the sample bottle I received with my #4 item!  Lol.  UDPP is a HG product for many, many people.  It goes on creamy and makes your eyeshadow stay in place all day long!

4.)  Urban Decay Naked palette - $50 - OMGGGG.  Do you have this yet?  If you don't, step away from your computer and drive to the nearest Ulta or Sephora and buy it.  No really, go.  I'll wait.  Ok, you're back?  Good.  Seriously - it is amazing.  This is the ONLY palette you need if you want nice, neutral looks or smokey dramatic eyes.  You can't go wrong with nudes and neutrals.

5.)  Benefit Coralista Boxed Blush - $28 - This blush is so lovely.  Trust me - it was a toss up between this one and NARS Orgasm blush.  However, I picked this one since it has an included brush and if I lost everything in my stash I would need a brush!

6.)  Too Faced Caribbean in a Compact Snow Bunny Bronzer - $29 - This is the best bronzer I've ever come across.  It has four stripes of color which keeps it from being too orangey.  This is my HG bronzer and I couldn't be happier with it.  I would have to replace it!

7.)  Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil in Strawburn - $22 - I've talked about this baby before.  I need it, have to have it, can't live without it anymore.

8.)  Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Demolition - $19 - Wow, 30% of the products on this list are UD!  They really are my favorite brand EVER!  This color smudges easily and stays all day long.  I really love how easy it is to apply without tugging or dragging.

9.)  Fairy Drops Scandal Queen mascara - $24 - This is one of my biggest indulgences.  It's just too amazing and makes my eyelashes look a million miles long.  Review forthcoming, I promise!

10.)  Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler - $19 - I had used a cheap, terrible eyelash curler for six years (SIX YEARS, Y'ALL!) before I purchased this one.  I knew I deserved it, after using crap for so long.  Beauty bloggers all over the internet sing the praises of this baby and for good reason.  It's so good that it's unreal.  You can create incredibly dramatic curls with it.

So there you have it!  These are the 10 products that I'd have to replace right away if I lost them!

What are your top ten?  Let me know!  Do we have any in common?  Would you choose more face products or more eye products?

XOXO

A favorite polish on a favorite friend

I've mentioned Amy on this blog quite a few times but that's because she's pretty awesome.  She's the one who hauled back a bunch of goodies from South Korea for me.  I've been friends with Amy for about nine years, which is probably why she consented to letting me play manicurist!

Amy is rocking OPI New York Red in this pictures and I think it looks great on her beautiful nails.  (Seriously - they're really strong and healthy.  I'm jeally.)
I forgot to get a picture of my bottle so here's a picture from Amazon.com.

You have to remember that I'm not a professional!  Nevertheless, New York Red is probably my favorite polish that I own.  YES - it's that good!

The formula is thin and applies flawlessly.  No goops, no pooling, no bubbling.  I can't find a fault with this product at all.  Not only is this a fantastic "classic red" but also it's incredible quality.

I find myself reaching for this polish more than any other bottle in my stash.  If you don't have a bottle, you seriously need to get one.  This is a classic!

You can buy OPI New York Red on Amazon HERE for $5.34.

Do you already have a "perfect red?'  What is it?  Aren't red nails just so effortlessly glamorous?!

XOXO
