Take me to an Oasis of shimmery green shadows!

Today I want to show you a Bare Minerals loose eyeshadow that I can't seem to find on the Ulta or Sephora websites.  I know, I know - it's mean to show you something you can't have!  But I think you might still be able to find this on eBay or other retailers.

Bare Minerals, at its roots, is all about loose but they've definitely come out swinging with their pressed format eyeshadows, too.

This is Oasis - a gorgeous, shimmery, olive green.  These type of colors just melt my heart - so pretty!

I was afraid the loose shadow would be difficult to work with but it's surprisingly easy.  The formula stays and stays and I don't notice creasing or fading all day.

Just make sure to pat it on gently and avoid applying too much so you don't have fallout.

All in all, I love this!  You can find the shades currently available HERE for $14.

By the way, I've entered a LA Colors Cosmetics giveaway for a HUGE basket of goodies.  I would so appreciate it if you would click on the link below this picture and hit the Like button.  The picture with the most likes wins and the contest ends December 21.  If I win, I will be giving away HALF the goodies to y'all in the form of giveaways!

Thank you so much!  I really appreciate it!

XOXO

This applicator is only handy in theory, unfortunately

Gold eyeshadow = one of my favorite things ever!

So today I want to show you Bare Minerals High Shine Eyeshadow in Gold Medal ($12).

I don't see this shade listed on Ulta's website anymore so who knows if it's discontinued.  However, I did want to show it to you so you can see the packaging and formula.

This has a spring-loaded, sponge-tip applicator.  When you pull it out of the tube, it pops out - which isn't good, in this case.

This causes the loose shadow inside to fluff out everywhere.  I get gold shimmer everywhere when using this product.

Unfortunately, this shadow does not have the best pigmentation, as you can see.  This definitely works best over a primer.  Of course, this does provide a very nice swipe of gold for a quick and easy eye-brightening look.

You can purchase the Bare Minerals High Shine Eyeshadows HERE.  Do you need this?  No.  If you have any other golds you should be fine.  Given the choice again, I probably wouldn't buy it.

XOXO

Bare Minerals The Phenomenon is absolutely phenomenal!

I've already told you how much I love my Bare Minerals Ready eyeshadow duo and now I have another one to share with y'all!  This one come to me from the lovely and talented Izzy, the Muse of Musings of a Muse!

I've already told you that she's one of my blogging idols and I love her blog.  I won a giveaway from her and she threw in some extras for me which was incredibly sweet and so awesome!  This lovely duo was one of them and I LOVE it!

This new duo is The Phenomenon which contains the shades Golden Iris and Azure Iris.  Bare Minerals describes these shades as "prismatic lavender and illuminating amber."  Purple and gold colors are my two of my favorite eyeshadow colors so I was thrilled about this!

As usual for Bare Minerals, these shades are buttery, dense, and creamy.  They swatch beautifully and look wonderful on eyes.

These are great "staple" colors and I know I'll be reaching for this duo all the time.  In fact, I have been reaching for this every morning but forcing myself not to use it until I took product pictures!  Lol.

Bare Minerals Ready continues to be one of my favorite eyeshadows of all time and I see some more Ready eyeshadows in my future!

This is a great deal at $20 and you can purchase them in Ulta and Sephora stores or online HERE.

XOXO

Are you Ready for this Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow Duo?

Do any of you use Bare Minerals foundation?  I know I went through a phase where that's the only foundation I wore!  There's just something wonderful about having super-breathable makeup that feels like you aren't wearing any.

I love Bare Minerals / Bare Escentuals a lot so when they released their Ready pressed eyeshadow duos and quads last year, I was ecstatic!  Bare Escentuals has had loose eyeshadows for quite a while but pressed is so much easier, in my humble opinion.

I picked up The Escape with contains Daydream and Wanderlust.  All of their palettes are cleverly named which is something I appreciate.

Daydream is a lovely light beige with an almost-but-not-quite matte finish.  There is a slight sheen to it.  Wanderlust is shimmery brown taupe with a slight gray tint.  These colors are wonderfully pigmented - they're so buttery, dense, and incredible!  The formula is just remarkable.

Not only that, but these colors are perfect for even the most conservative office.  You can create a really easy and quick neutral eye look.

These is a go-to duo for me.  I like to use the included sponge applicator to place Daydream all over the lid.  Then, I use my fluffy crease brush to lightly buff Wanderlust into the crease.  Be care to not be too heavy-handed with Wanderlust since it is remarkably pigmented.

I wish I had EVERY duo in the Ready collection.  I have read rave reviews for all of them!

This palette was $20 and contains 0.1 oz of product.  You can purchase HERE.

TGIF, am I right?!  It's been a crazy weekend so I'm ready for a weekend of downtime!  Here's a funny for you, just since it's the weekend!

LOL!  Gets me every time!

What are your weekend plans?  Do you own any of the Ready duos, quads, or palettes?

XOXO
